Parasyte Live Action – Trailer

The first trailer and footage has released for the live action film adaptation of Iwaki Hitoshi’s 1990 MangaParasyte (Kisejuu). The trailer is for the first film, of the scheduled two, and will be produced by Toho. The films will be directed by Takashi Yamazaki, who directed the live action Space Battleship Yamato film in 2010.

The first Parasyte film is scheduled to release in Japan this on November 29th. The second film will release in 2015.

The film’s main cast are as follows:

• Shota Sometani (live action TV xxxHOLiC series) will be starring as Shinichi Izumi
• Ai Hashimoto (live action Another film) will portray Shinichi’s friend Satomi Murano
• Eri Fukatsu (from the movie Onnanoko Monogatari) will play Ryouko Tamiya
