Isaiah 26:3
“You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you.” Meditation: We bump to people from all walks of life. We have different upbringing. Sometimes because of our differences and how we respond to it, we unintenionally create conflicts. We live in this world full of problems and hardships. We work today and try to secure our future finances and relationship but what is the secret of perfect peace? Is there such word as perfect peace? Or do we only get it after death? Isaiah told us that indeed, perfect peace is a reality and people who steadfastly trust on God remains in perfect peace. But how? Being steadfast means, being committed, faithful and unwavered. That means, Isaiah is telling us to trust God faithfully without wavering. When we learn the art of full dependence no matter the situation is, we can live in perfect peace. Who/What are you depending right now? Work? Money? Skill? Family? Shift your dependence to God!
