2,500,000 bombs in forest and mountains

I was watching BBC Earth. There was this TV program about a woman in Vietnam who was working for a bomb search and destroy organisation. They said she had found and destroyed 28,000 unexploded bombs till now which were dropped in forests and mountains during wars but that is just 1% of the bombs still lying in forests and mountains worldwide.

So some 2,500,000 bombs are still there in forests and mountains worldwide ??

The woman found a 300 kg bomb in the forest. When the team detonated the big bomb, the cameraman standing 600 meters away was shaken.
