1. Keep your target audience in mind.
2. Maintain uniform kerning and spacing.
3. Pick a good color scheme.
4. Use whitespace.
5. Avoid raster-based images.
6. Apply only three fonts.
7. Proofread your work.
8. Remember the medium.
9. Avoid copying others’ work.
10. Maintain consistency.

Again, basic rules lang to. Of course pag nagcocollect na kayo ng experience, mas lalawak pa yung knowledge niyo sa field ng graphic design. I've been working with some graphic designers din dito sa current job ko, and iba-iba sila ng work ethics and style sa craft nila. Pero I'm sure na almost 90% sa rules na yan, naeembody naman nila which is good since nakakaproduce kami ng outputs na better and okay sa clients. Hope this helps!
