PHI have posted a thread the other day that my Spotify account was häçked. I tried everything to recover my account. It was a terrible experience to lose access to what you value.
I went to UnionBank to report it, for them to file a lawsuit against intruders. After just a couple of days, I received an email from Spotify regarding the incident. I am amazed and feel valued because Spotify took an immediate action. They asked me to send some copies of my personal documents, billing statements, and ID cards. Guess what? After just few hours of chatting with them thru Twitter, I received an amazing outcome! They told me that they have taken down my old account for security reasons and asked me to create a new account and submit it to them for them to synchronize the data with my old account.
So, I immediately created a new account, a free account of course, and then send my email to them. After few more minutes, everything switch back to their right places.
The only thing that was not synchronized are my family members. They are all gone. But it's OK. It's great to have my subscription back.
