- Angel Locsin finally gave an answer to the clamor of fans who want her to take the place of Liza Soberano

• She directly answered the reporter without batting an eyelash
• For the superstar, who once risked life and limb to give justice to the iconic superhero, it's a "no"

In an interview by TV Patrol, Angel has revealed her personal disposition whether she would still take on the role.

"Ayan na naman tayo eh...Sa totoo lang, of course masaya ako sa pagmamahal na ibinigay nila...Maraming salamat po sa pagmamahal, pero no. Hanggang ngayon I'm still rooting for Liza siguro kaya ayaw ko ring mag-entertain ng thoughts kung sino ang maging next Darna."

It can be recalled that Liza Soberano made the fateful announcement of withdrawing from the project in an interview.
Her sudden and unexpected withdrawal from the project created a huge buzz in the industry and in social media.
