Laptop HDD Failure

First Problem:

• Wont boot to OS, first screen appears Lenovo Diagnostic: Quick Storage Device Test.
• Run Recover Bad Sectors Tool. It appears that the disk has a lot of bad sectors.
• Replaced a working HDD.

Second Problem: Attempting to recover important files from defective HDD

• In Computer Management, disk is detected but the disk is "Unknown", "Not Initialized" and "Unallocated". Tried Initialized Disk and selected both MBR and GPT, results is Data error (cyclic redundancy check)
• Tried cmd admin and run diskpart.
• Tried Partition Recovery tools but nothing works.
• Run EaseUS Recovery. Im on my 3rd day of Running EaseUS DeepScan. I tried recovering an Excel file. The excel file recovered has 0 Kb size.

I need a resolution on how to recover the files on the HDD.

The disk is not being detected via My Computer. I can only the disk via Computer Management.




When I tried to Initialized the disk, I got this error.

Note that this is an office unit. This contains important data, and it needs to be retrieved.

Yes, via Bootable USB OS and EaseUS.

Ganyan din po yung problem ng hdd namin. Kailangan ng master password.

try mo ts gumamit ng linux os tapos gamit ka ng enclosure tignan mo kung maaccess mo pa mga files mo.. gayan din sakin.. narecover ko naman mga files ko. chkdisk mo muna bago mo lagay sa enclosure tapos salpak sa linux os.

Wala pa akong pwedeng pag salpakan ng linux eh, pero try ko to. Any Linux OS lang? Thanks.

Duda ko meron problema sa hardware na talaga nang HDD mo TS.
Try mo pa recover yan sa mga experts pero meron lang bayad. Search mo lang ISS-EYAN Data Recovery Center.

if no solutions, your last option is get an expert in file retrival... you may spend at least 25K to 30K for a 1tb...mall base po ma'am ang mga yan.
