is it true that Globe is performing maintenance recently wiping all old mac addresses compatible with old modems such as BM622 etc and replacing them with new mac addresses only compatible with the latter models meaning all old modems are to be incompatible with the mac addresses to be released in the future?

What you have posted is partly true, but there's no need for us to be worried because the new ones are still compatible with the old modems.

it's just a matter of research and experiment.Why don't you give your self a try.That's what I did recently.
