🔒 Closed Are Pinoy forums dead?

Long-time lurker here.

Although I like browsing r/philippines, I kinda miss the forums of the old times, where I can browse different kinds of Pinoy communities on the Internet.

But it looks like forums in general, and Pinoy forums in particular, are in the last throes of a slow death, killed by Facebook and Twitter and their ilk. Which is kind of sad.

A post in Siam Pinoy, for example.

Or PinoyMac. Dead.

Of course, most of these dead communities are offline anyway.

Any forums of note that are left standing? Any forums that you visited in the last month?

The people I know in Facebook are not very active (is Facebook in decline, too?) and I can't stand the inane posts of those that are.

Nga naman! Madami siguro dito nakaabot pa nung smsterclan at waprock noon. Palaho na ba talaga? O may interest ng iba ang mga tao. Iilan sa mga forums na alam ko para ng ghost town liban sa phc.
