I know people are excited about Dragon Maid, but you should take a closer look at the source.
Moetron
Moetron initially linked to a Spanish Crunchyroll article, which said that the author himself announced the second season, without source. The article was already removed:

The author was active today, saying something about a new volume of a spin-off manga, but said nothing about it on his Twitter

Some people on Twitter also pointed to a Facebook entry of Crunchyroll Germany, that is also, by this point, removed:

Meotron changed the source to:

This source again links to ryokutya2089.
ryokutya2089
Another source people point to is Yaraon which sources ryokutya2089, who made a blog post about Dragon Maid. ryokutya2089 previously leaked Weekly Famitsu and Dengeki PlayStation information and is deemed very reliable.

MAL
The entry being added to MAL means nothing. Users can add anime to MAL and it may have looked right with the initial news of the Crunchyroll accounts. But it doesn't really confirm anything without a source.
In Short
As u/Dellaran points out in the news thread, there is not art, no teaser, no official mention, nothing.
So, better curb your enthusiasm until we get an actual announcement. Maybe there will be one and some regional Crunchyroll teams accidentally fired the gun too early. Or maybe somebody got confused about the tweet of the author about the second volume of a manga.
With ryokutya2089 in the mix, it's possible there will be an announcement, but there isn't one as of now.
