🔒 Closed Delayed push notifications and incoming voip call not working if phone is asleep for several minutes

I have a brand new iPhone 6s. It is always connected to Wi-Fi. But sometimes push notifications are coming in delayed and sometimes the phone will not ring if someone calls me through a VoIP messaging app like Viber or Messenger.

The way I see it, this occurs when the device has been in sleep and not used for "several minutes". I only get immediate push notifications when I wake up the device, and not as they come in. It looks like it will drop the internet communication after some time that you're not using the phone even though it is connected to WiFi. To avoid this problem, I need to wake up the device every few minutes. My old iPhone 5C do not have this problem so this cannot be a WiFi router problem.

Is anybody experiencing the same when always connected to Wifi (not cellular data). What could be wrong or is this behavior normal ?
