Your add-ons/extensions work on any version of Firefox, on any platform! That means they all work with Waterfox. On the other hand, only 64-Bit plugins work with Waterfox and as of now those are: Adobe Flash, Oracle Java and Microsoft Silverlight.
Waterfox is based on the current stable Firefox build, which means it functions in exactly the same way. Aside from its name on the menu at the top of the main window, there’s nothing to differentiate it from Firefox. Waterfox shares your Firefox settings, so should you come to uninstall it, don’t select the option to delete all personal information if you’re still using Firefox.
Waterfox Features:
• Compiled in Intel’s C++ Compiler
• Intel’s Math Library
• Streaming SIMD Extensions 3
• Advanced Vector Extensions
• Jemalloc
• Profile-Guided Optimisation
• /O3 Switch
• 100% Extension Compatibility
• 64-bit Plugin Support
• Future Proof!
You MUST have Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package (x64) installed! Download it here.
