If tech savy ka paps and gusto mo mag try ng ibang custom rom go for it if hindi naman better stay na lng gaya ng sabi ng sa taas mavo void yang warranty ng phone mo at mas less security pero nasayo pdin naman yan if gusto mo mag risk. Btw redmi 5 plus user din ako and rooted ndin phone. Sali ka sa group sa fb ng unit mo paps para mas makakuha ka ng ideya sa tanong mo

hmm i think maganda nadin ksi quality ni rn5ai in terms of games and cam kaya wala masyado nagri risk mag root. Pero tambay ka ng miui forum, xda at youtube basa at nood ka ng mya naka experience na mag root same lng din ng pag root yan ng ibang unit may code kasi per unit

Usapang custom rom madaming dev ang rn5ai/pro naten. Dami ko nang nasubukang rom. Kung nakapag flash ka ng ng rom madali na mag flash ng magisk(pang root).
Unlock mo bootloader mo.
Install ka ng twrp sa pc.
Note: may arb ang phone naten. Paalala langckung babalik ka ng miui. Dapat latest palagi ang iflash mo pag babalik ka ng miui.
