Flash BIOS with a USB flash Drive (for laptop turn on but with black screen)

- Step 1: Identify your laptop module and current BIOS version.
- Step 2: Check your laptop/motherboard manufacturer’s Website for BIOS file and downloaded.
- Step 3: Unzip BIOS file to a folder of your choice. Format a USB flash drive to use the FAT file system (Use the smallest one you could find).
- Step 4: Copy the xxxxx.FD to root of the newly formatted USB flash drive and RENAME the file xxxx.FD to xxxx.BIN. (Every BIOS has special xxxx.bin name check the our website or the internet for the right name for your BIOS .bin file)
- Step 5: Remove the AC adapter and the battery and hold down the power button for 30 seconds. Release the power button.
- Step 6: Insert the USB Drive into one of the USB ports on your laptop.
- Step 7: Hold the ( Ctrl key +Home key for Asus laptop) or (B key + Windows key for HP laptop) or (FN key + ESC key for Acer laptop) down at the same time.
- Step 8: Plug the AC adapter back (in keep holding the keys down while you plug in the adapter).
- Step 9: Turn on the laptop, when the LEDs came on, let go of power button and then the two keys held down earlier.
- Step 10: After few seconds the laptop started reading the USB flash drive.
- Step 11: If the file was found then it took some seconds for the laptop to load it.When loaded the laptop power led start blinking. About few seconds after the blinking had stopped the laptop shutdown. BIOS worked normally thereafter.
