Q: A truck is traveling 10 km/h when the driver steps at the breaks. If the car decelarates at 5 meters/second square,

a) how long does it takes to stop?

b) how far has it travele before it stopped?

A.)
(10 km/hr)(1000m/1km)(1hour/60min)(1min/60s) = 2.78 m/s
(2.78 m/s) / (5m/s^2) = 0.5555s or 0.56 s

B.) (2.78m/s)(0.56s) = 1.54 m

Recalculate mo check mo nalang significant figures
