Jose Bartolome:Guro is an advocacy film about the importance of education. When ask about the difference of his role to others who portray teacher in a film, he said that his character is much more tougher bounded with complex situation as in the film he gave up his teaching profession in city to teach in remote areas. He would like his character to be much more grounded to ordinary people. When ask about working relationship with the director, Ronald Rafer, he said that Ronald is calm and quiet and gave him freedom on how he will going to attack his character.
