PHContemporary scientific findings show that Earth is the only place where there is life, not only simple life but intelligent and rational ones. Pero, paano kapag someday, we could discover na mayroon life within our solar system other than earth, or our milky way galaxy or beyond is teeming with life? Would that shake you whatever you believe now?
Dahil sa immensity ng ating universe, wala pa tayong technology to explore all cornes of the observable universe. We have the Hubble Space telescope to look into the universe at least 10-15 billions light years away. The galaxies, gas clouds, quazars and pulsars nasasagap ng telescope natin. Pero ang mga planets lalo na at hindi nag emit ng light energy, unlike stars, hindi masagap at lalo na hindi malalaman kung may life forms dahil sa liit ng mga theoretical planets na ito at kung mayroon man life forms.
Maliban po dyan, the distance is so immense that the nearest start(not the Sun) is about 4 light years. Imagine the speed of light travelling 4 years to reach Proxima Centauri. How so difficult to gather data back to earth. If the light of that star reached earth 4 years ago, then madami nagbago. Now, imagine those objects that are hundreds, thousands, millions or billions of light years from us. Wala po tayong idea in our present life kung anu na po actual at present condition ng mga objects na yan dahil eons of years na ang nakakalipas. A little bit complicated and too long here para i detalye.
Share lang po ako na mayroon life forms even some are super intelligent or advance sa mga ibang planets, that does not disprove an ultimate and transcendent God existence who is the ultimate observer of reality.
From the smallest to the largest entities in the universe, all are interconnected and interdependent to each other. The super string, super symmetry, brane, TOE, big bang etc theories are just some of the few ways to see, unterstand and interpret reality in scientific context. Wala pa po dyan ang philosophical and religious perspectives.
Bakit po interdependent ang bawat isa? Sa aking pananaw, nothing has an absolute existence, saves that of God as the ultimatr simplicity, if we were to define God here as the ultimate end, explanation and observation of things. The quarks, leptons, muons, gluons, atoms, molecules, seem like both concepts and absolute entities but if you break them down, you can see smaller objects and there is no end to it. They have no absolute physical existence because they are breakable by the intelligent mind or observer. So too of the large entities in the universe. The universe or multiverse can not exist without its smaller constituents. What also amazes me is that without me or a conscious intelligent being observing, reality can not exist. The universe we know can not exist without us observing it. Without mind or intelligence observing it, it will collapse.
