Third-party Browsers (Handler)

I just want to share these great applications ---browsers, specicically!
We all know that it is hard to run such application in Nokia C2-00, which was I am using.
So, instead I delete it immediately on my storage...
Who knows if there are tricks that you could use for these work for your unit?

andrewkaiser27: Sir, for this very moment... I am using PC with an internet connection. :P But if your question pertains to, what am I usin' for my Nokia C2-00 to connect to internet, well... Magic IP lang po at nakaka-browse using built-in browser. :)

BTW, salamat po pala sa "Like" nyo. :)

pahingi trick mo para maka.internet sa c2-00...
kahit ano pwede sa handler or built-in lang ok na sa akin atleast meron connection...

Causing Glenn: My pleasure sir! Unlike other s40, Nokia C2-00 is made possible of creating its own configuration settings, if and only if you have upgraded its software version to 3.99 or bought it luckily in the said version already.

To cut it short, here's how:
1. Setting > Configurations > Personal config.
You to create 2 configuration: Web (name it say, Magic IP) and Access Point (name it say, myGlobe INET)
And here's the thing you have to input...
IP: 74.209.160.12
Port: 80
APN: http.globe.com.ph

2. Once you have the settings; from Setting > Configurations > Active config.
Just click on the slot where your globe sim is. Then choose "Magic IP" for web and "myGlobe INET" for Access point.

NOTE: In creating web settings, you have to select, "dont use preferred access point" though you still have to create one. One more thing! May nakita din po ako dito na yung magic ip ay from .00 to .16 (replacement for xx.xxx.xxx".12") pero ang gamit ko po ay 74.209.160.12,, at di ko pa na-try yung iba.

Moreover, you have to set your Packet data too with the same value for APN which is http.globe.com.ph ...
You'll be seeing it from Setting > Connectivity > Packet data > Packet data settings

personal config:
*add new web:
acct name:globe
homepage: ano ilalagay dito?
use preferred access point:no

access point settings:
proxy:enabled
proxy ad: 74.209.160.12
port:80

bearer settings:
packedt data access point: http.globe.com.ph
network type: ipv4

*add new access point
access point settings > bearer settings > packedt data access point: http.globe.com.ph
network type: ipv4

activated na po itong dalawa...

tapos connectivity settings
packet data > packet data settings > active access point: access point 1
edit active access point > packet data access point : http.globe.com.ph

:)
