Hello,
In the past month, we have gone through some basic simple key loggers. Today i want to introduce one of my favorite remote key logger called Vulcan logger. Most of you have probably already heard of it.

intro.jpg

Vulcan Logger is a monitoring software that records all keystrokes on a computer. It then securely emails the strokes to a email set by the user. This software is for educational purposes only.
Features:
Choose SMTP/Port
Choose the Subject of the Email
Send Computer Information
Send Screenshots
Set Interval of emails
Test E-Mail
Choose the Icon
Add to Startup
Melt
Display Error on Run
Choose title/message/type of error
Download on Execute
Website Visitor on Execute
Random variable and function names
Generate strong encryption key
Generate random Assembly
File Pumper
Choose File Name
27KB output.
It does its job and works like a charm icon_smile.gif
Lets Begin :
1) You can choose to download it at the official site You do not have permission to view the full content of this post. Log in or register now., but you will need to complete a survey.
2) Or you could just download it from me by clicking You do not have permission to view the full content of this post. Log in or register now..
3) Unzip your file and locate Vulcan Logger.exe.

4) Now go ahead and click on it (If you are worried, use sandboxie or shut down your internet) and you will be presented with the screen shown below.

a) Fill in the email address and password that you wish to use to collect the incoming logs.
b) SMTP Port : By default they provide gmail, yahoo & hotmail. So if your email is yahoo, change your Smtp port to Yahoo.
c) The subject of your incoming email. I would advise making it something decent and not like “My drone has arrived!”.
d) I tend to leave the Computer Info tick box empty because otherwise the email function does not work for me. If it works for you, then go ahead and tick it as well.
e) Tick the screenshot box and choose the interval time you want the file to snap the picture of your target desktop. Do not leave it at 5mins or you will be getting a mail box filled with flooded junk logs.
f) You could choose to use any specific .icon file.
5) And finally click the Test Email button. If it worked, you will see the screen prompt shown below.

6) I logged into my email to check the test mail and there we go, a screen shot of my desktop and me watching some show while tweaking vulcan.

7) Lets move to the Extra Options tab.
a) Tick add to start up so your file boots up every time the system boots up.
b) Tick melt to make the file vanish right after execution. This can be suspicious to the victim at times.
c) The error option is optional, i just left an example.

d) Tick use downloader if you wish to command Vulcan logger to retrieve any file from a web server, for example a RAT.exe.
e) Tick use web visitor to load a certain url upon execution of the file.
f) Tick both Random Variable & Function names and press the generate key button.

8) Next on the Assembly& Build tab, you could choose to set the file title, description, copyright entries by yourselves or randomly generate one. This really depends on the individual attack and also on how observant your target is.

9) Use the file pumper to add bytes to your malicious server file. This is in hope to reduce detection rate.

10) And there we go, the malicious server has been created.

11) And all that is left is to locate and infect your target in whatever way you find convenient for you.
12) As you can see after executing my file “silver.exe”, it now appears on his task bar.
