I don' t think about you, it's true

Even though you seem so fine



As if I'd make a poem for you

You're not the only thing on my mind

Did I say you're on my mind?

You're not!

Stop looking at me

If you would be so kind



As if I've been waiting

For you to hold my hand

Please, you're not a king

Yours are as rough as a sand



Please don't try to convince me otherwise

I've been having a hard time doing it myself

If this poem to convince doesn't suffice

Then be ready to be my other half
