I have a phone samsung (SM-J120H/DS) whose lcd is broken. I was just wondering if the lcd screen of samsung galaxy core 2 is compatible with it since they're both of the same size.

No. J120H and G355H are different. They have a different lcd connectors. So it might not work.

kung kaya ng budget mo punta ka sa service center ng samsung i think old phone na iyan. so expect mo na ang tagal niyan dahil malamang via order nalang ang parts niya.

pero kung ayaw mo naman sa samsung.. kung taga dito ka sa metro manila sa quiapo meron doon tinatawag na generic.
