Ang saya naman nito! may isang side na namimilit na sila ang tama at yung isa mali. Yung isa naman, mariing ipinagtatangol ang "amin", at nagsasabing "huwag ka nang makialam at manahimik ka nalang!". Hindi ba puwede na pareho tama? o pareho mali?.
Skeptic's point of view lang po. I'm a Roman Catholic by birth only. I mean, I believe that there is A God (as opposed to THE God), but I do not really follow many of our religion's practices. Sa akin kasi, as long as I try my best to live a good life, in reference to the people around me as well as fulfilling my potentials, ok na yun. I tend to think that if the God we have is really "Benevolent, Omnipotent, and Omniscient" (emphasis on the benevolent), He would be more concerned on whether His creatures are living to their best potentials than whether they are worshipping Him. As long as they do good with each other, then it does not really matter what they believe. If and when judgement day comes, I think that we should be judged by our actions and what we did for our fellow creatures rather that what we believed and how many we were able to bring to His flock. So, as long as wala ka naman ginagawang mali, and you go out of your way to do good things for others, it does not really matter what religion you believe in.
Another thing, sino po ba ang nagsabi na the Bible is The definitive basis/guide in practicing a religion? Paano namang natin nalaman na tama yung nagsabi? Is God really the source of the words written there? Hindi ba tao lang din naman yung gumawa nun? At sa nagsasabing salita iyon ng mga Apostoles ni Kristo, hindi ba tao lang din naman sila? At sa mga nagsasabing galing kay Kristo o Diyos ang mga salitang isinulat ng mga apostoles, paano ninyo nalaman yun? Nandun ba kayo nung ginawa nila ang biblya? Kung nandoon kayo at nasaksihan ninyo lahat, panalo ka na. Congrats po at natapos na ang debate!
Pero kung sinabi lang din sa inyo ang lahat ng nalalaman ninyo o pinag-aralan lang ninyo o nabasa lang nang walang matibay na ebidensiya na magpapatunay, it all comes down to faith right? Faith that everything about your religion is true. Faith that the bible is indeed the Word of God, that there is A God, di ba paniniwala lang lahat yun? Kung ganun, at lahat ng religion may sariling paniniwala, e di tama lahat. Tama si James and Co. na yung paniniwala niya ang nag-iisang tama at tama rin si GODzDOG10 and Co. na dapat tumahimik nalang sina James and Co. at huwag na makialam sa hindi nila relihyon.
