Hi. Pwede magtanong mga ka PHC? Ano masasabi nyo sa legalization ng divorce? Are you agree or anti in legalization of divorce?

divorce is good. but di ka na pwedeng magpakasal sa iba.. ahaha.. legally hiwalay kayo..

para makapagpakasal ka ulit.. you need annulment.. to void and null your previous marriage contract sa asawa mo.. i vovoid yung contract ninyo

No need to legalize divorce. We already have ANNULMENT. same effect din lang naman only that in our present system more strict ang annulment kasi may mga particular grounds lang to warrant it, unlike yang divorce medyo lax.

Hehehe. No hate po, opinion lang. :)

secretaccount just to inform po, being divorced is technically the same as annulment. Annulment kasi is saying a couple never married, whereas sa divorce it acknowledges that there was marriage, but due to "reasons" the marriage is declared void. In the end both parties can get married again should they want to. Yung sinasabi mo po, legal separation where the couple lives separately, but can not enter in another relationship :).

At topic. For me divorce should be legal, there are limited reasons on how an individual can get a marriage annùlléd, and can lead to an unhappy marriage. That being said, don't stay married using your children as the reason why you're "staying", children pick up on this and whichever party stayed is going to have resentment towards the other (I know this first hand, with my parents lol).

Truth is though, I doubt the Philippines is ready for a divorce. Medyo religious pa kasi ang mga tao, and the church is generally indoctrinated in most of us, so a lot of people would be against it.
