❓ Help Gosurf 50 spotify freebie doesnt work

I will introduce myself first.
Australiano ko living in Cebu in the remote jungle.
I have a number of frustrations with globe prepaid.


1. getting a correct gosurf data balance is impossible without resetting the cellular, connection. i suspext this is a database replication issue which the developers at globe are not intellectually capable of overcoming.
If i check my gosurf status without first resetting my connection, (disconnect and reconnect), the figures we users are giver are "as of last moment on previous connection" . however this is sometimes not the case , but rarely, and i suspect that indicates a development error.


2.Gosurf freebies. this seems to simply be a case of corporations lying to make there products sound good.
on every street there is a sign promoting Gosurf50 with free 300 MB data for app of choice. Nowhere does it state the truth which is thus:
GOSURF50 freebies are not availavle for every purchase of this product, only those times which we "globe" feel like making the freebies available to our customers.
that would be the honest truth.

2a. if i subscribe to gosurf 50, regardless of when i last subscribed, i am purchasing the product advertised on the sign. it shoykd come with what is advertised. it SIMPLY DOES NOT. who else is experiencing this discusting appalling business behaviour from this huge telco.
2b. when i do manage yo subscribe to the freebie, which only happens about once a week, when i have ρáíd over 400 pesos in gosurf50 subscriptions, sometimes it simply sits there dormant. for example, i subscribes to gs50 spotify, for 300 mb of spotify. i then used about 400 mb of spotify as evidenced by my application specific network usage monitor app, and then when i checked the status of my go surf50 and gs50 fb, only 30 MB of it had been taken from the free spotify allocation and the rest was simply charged yo the gosurf50 gb of data. like glibe saying a big F"*k YOU to me for giving them 500 pesos a week.
this is the most disgusting business in this archipelago.
 
oh, and now that ive downloaded the triangle app, and the gservices app, i seem to have earned a 100MB freebie.

Could that incidentally be anything to do with the fact globe just decided to subscribe my service to MOBISTORE at a cost of 5peso per day to me? I now have to unsubscribe to that for them to stop taking my money.

This is disgusting business.
 
Same problem. I already used up 90mb of twitter data (from my network data manager also) and send a status both to my gb data and 300mb "freebie", it shookt me that only 5mb has been deducted to my freebie (you know obviously where it has been deducted -_-).
 
well i am not standing by this nonsense. ive have enough. I am going through the department of trade and industry and making it right. A year ago, i got close to getting them into mediation, but i had to pop back to Australia and had to tell the session to postpone. Now i will start it up again.
It was great to see an email forwarded to both myself and the CEO of Globe, requesting that we were both present at mediation. I got his frigging email address from the CC line in the email from the department of Trade, another example of how pathetic the business ethics are in this country.

It is not fair, you all work hard for relatively small pay compared to these corporations,, and these corporations just screw u in return.

Here is a complicated but descriptive series of sms's which confirm they are braking the law, in more than one way!

that is why we filipinos are trying to find glitches in their system.
cause philippine isp's are milking on us....

find tutorials on how you can use internet without spending much...look for bugs posted in here
 
i should also point out, its not as simple as i made it, its even more complicated. The data usage for spotify actually gradually went down like it should as i was monitoring it the day i did it, it went down to abotu 2 MB available. But then that night, it went back to 173MB available, almost as if some tosser whose job is to find as many users to screw as possible, went and found my data and reassigned it to my std data to make their bottom line better,
I think they dont intend to milk you, theyre just so incredibly ****ing thick, (the programmers) that they cant test their programming to find these problems, then the company is such a pack of tossers they wont listen to any of their customers.
I go to the extents of walking in to globe, and they force me to complain over a phone to an uninterested ******* who blurts the generic response, (SIR YOUR FREEBIES ARE ONE PER SUBSCRIPTION).
Its just too complicated for their small little Filipino brains.
 
SO hopefull,y in mediation, i will, with the assistance of the govt, force them to look at all their procedures, or else risk loosing their business licence.
And yes, i am talking about eliminating globe form the market.
Its not going to be hard with such small minds behind their desks.
 
unfortunately im limited to prepaid movile network, as im not a Philippines citizen so cant prove income. And im in the middle of the jungle with a 3g router up a very large hill sending the data down the hill over a network cable and series of switches/repeaters. No change of phone lines or fibre here.

It take a certain type of special intellect, which only very few people have, and absolutely none have in this country, to create a systematic computerised process for something as complicated as data traffic monitoring.
It all stems to how children are raised in this country, the situation they face is a terrible schooling and and even worse nutritional beginning in the infant years. In other more nutritional and more nurturing countries, more neurons are connected at an earlier age which leads to more intellect as the child grows.
Name me one good invention that has come out of this country!

i dont have a problem, i am at a respectable level. i understand everything about this country and its flaws.
My family is here and i love them and the culture. I have no problem with philipinos, just philipino business ethics
 
and perhaps another problem which is evident here in this situation, is the timid nature of all staff, who wouldn't dare to try to really understand a customers complaint, because that would mean having to be on the side of the customer and not the ppl who pay them. Because getting a job here is so hard, it forces more of this problem to push throughout society.

im sorry if i offend you, please dont be offended, that is absolutely not what i intend. the rest of the world have a lot to learn form the nature of the every day philipino here. I wouldnt be here if i thought different.

now i do appreciate your opinion and i may consider you are probably right....
that is why we have been colonized for centuries and now still being played by some people in authority...we're really hungry for a change.
