I've been searching for a way on how to check if the unit has been serviced (refurbished)? Are there codes of some sort that we can use or a hidden menu that will show this information?

I guess you can check it through physical appearance. Dunno if there's a special code or menu for that. Let's wait for smartphone expert here to give us some hint.

Nakikita yan through physical appearance kapag china phones po. At yung screen niya po is medyo may kulay. Yung original android po or iphone po is full black po yung screen. Yan lang naman ang napapansin ko sa mga china at orig na phones.

Agree basta china phone ang screen ay may grid ! At totoo may kulay talaga!

Benchmark mo antutu, what was supposed to be 80k sa original would be 20k sa clone or lower, sa clones recording pa lang ng voice palpak na usually.

The first letter in the model number represents the source of the device. Currently, there are four known possible choices:

"F": refurbished unit
"M": retail unit
"N": replacement unit
"P": personalized (engraved) unit

For Samsung etc.. how to check ?

well kahit base lang sa imei malalaman mo na. may thread alam ko para sa ganyan if saan made. ang alam ko lang 00 or 01 yung pang 7 and 8 na digit para masabing orig talaga.
