To admins I have a question, what if a person has 2 facebook accounts or more? One is ofcourse personal or real and the others are just dummy for whatsoever reasons.

He/she can just register the real facebook account here then spread/leak the informations he got on the dummy accounts, very simple. Or vice versa, register the fake/dummy then use the real one on leaks.

So you see there is a loophole in this regard and I don't think there's any more you can do about it. Dont get me wrong, I support the protection of integrity of this community but that "measure/solution" alone will easily raise a doubt to a tactful user.

In short, it is flawed. I've heard that even some members in the higher ranks are also doing it (or are they the culprit?).

I have nothing against generating additional profit from web traffic through facebook, but to say that it is for a different purpose is a kind of misleading in my humble opinion.

regarding dito

paano magkakaprofit?..ahahha. mali opinion mo.. at maling mali pag kakaanalyze mo.. its just a simple notification at parang auto poster lang ng status. like normal na ginagawa natin sa status posting.

Draft .. tama po ba explanation ko? regarding sa affiliation ng fb /twitter .. additional requirement to become established member

Fair enough, additional requirement for a membership is good for screening of authenticity.

But to me it is still some sort of a discrimination, and you're suppose to invite more members (be it dummy or smurf) and not to lure them away. You cant control something of what they do coz they will always finds a way around the system with regards to leaks.

This is not about me coz establish or not, it doesnt quite make a big difference anymore since the site has provided me already all the infos that I need and kudos for that.

I'm just wondering why is this implemented this late (or not so late) and curious as to how this will pan out.

I'm sorry I don't know about the layers of business side of a site profit generation and all that.

~Change is always welcome for the greater good.

.adding requirements is normal.. kahit saan naman. may choice ang tao..

if you want to be established .. complete the requirements..

buti nga di dinagdagan ang posting counts at acct age..

Yup it is normal.

But comparing this to other forums (like reddit, or any other forums) it is a bit invasive since you're divulging a large portion of your private life. So this becomes a question of "privacy" which is a huge deal nowadays.

I only see facebook account affiliations to forums as a mere tool for advertising. Like their system may have some sort of an algorithm to track you down gathering pieces of information and sell those data to companies which will then provide you with annoying adds about the products you may want. Not to mention those creepy bunch with malicious intent that may harm you according to their desire like h@cking, fraud, stalking, ddos and among others.

So this kind of issue concerns me here but not a lot, I mean I trust us Filipinos will (most likely) not go that path as far as I am aware of our values. Yes there is always a black sheep in the group but it is still marginally rare with regards to this.

~Regards

walang makaka access sa fb na nakalink.. trust me.

Different forums have different purposes hence different requirement registration which is acceptable and understandable. Like if you join a forum about consumer products then you may have to enter your credit card info for future or possible transactions in their site upon registering.

Lets face it, facebook gets its profits from advertisements and the only way to be efficient is to gather data about you and sells it to other companies. We dont know how they are doing it but the fundamentals are obvious. (Google also do this but they have a wide arrays of sources or products to offer.)

To say that a person will have to bind his/her facebook account without explicit coherence to the sites purpose is absurd thus raises doubt upon review as to how superficial the basis are.

WEIRDIODE Please re-read my posts.

And there are levels of how you divulge your personal information based on what the site is offering you which is perpectly understandable. The more sensitive the site is the more it is screened for member authenticity.

bakit di mo maintindihan yung simpleng paliwanag? iniinsist mo yang theory mo..

once you off this option.. wala ng kinalaman ang facebook..

so anu pa problema?
