New requirement: forum account must be associated with their facebook or google or twitter account

New implemented requirement:

• User's forum account must be associated with their Facebook OR Google OR Twitter account

I think mas mabawasan dito mga spammer/dummy/troll/pasikat sa fb.

Established members are members that have a few extra features because they contributed something useful to this site. It's actually not hard to become an established member, but it does require some minimal effort.

Basic requirements:

1. User has posted at least 30 post
2. User has been registered for at least 30 days
3. User's forum account must be associated with their Facebook OR Google OR Twitter account

• Maintain 5 post every 30 days period to keep your account on Established Group.
• Associate with External Accounts here: https://phcorner.org/account/external-accounts
• Configure your Social Network Sharing Options here: https://phcorner.org/account/preferences

It can take up to an hour for the promotion to happen
(there is an hourly process that checks for promotions for users that have visited the site recently).

Kapag naka tanggap kayu ng ganitong error:

Facebook did not provide an email address for your account.
Please ensure that you have a confirmed email address listed in Facebook and try again.

Ibig sabihin hindi pa verified via email ang Facebook account mu.
Kaylangan mu yung ma verify muna thru email na gamit mu sa Facebook or palitan mu ng working email.

If you created a Facebook account with an email, FB sent a confirmation link to that email.
If you can't find your confirmation email:
Check your junk mail folder.
If you're using Gmail, check your Social emails.
Make sure that you entered the correct email.
If you entered the wrong email, you can change it and send the email again.

Kapag nang hingi ng password ang PHCorner while nag associate kayu ng External Account,
PHCorner password ilagay nyu hindi external site pass.

Kung wala naman kayung password na naka set dito sa PHC kasi naka register lang kayu thru Google/Twitter/Facebook,

or @tag nyu aku (expect late response) para mabigyan ku kayu ng temporary password para magamit nyu pang login at pang associate ng Facebook/Twitter.

Makikita nyu email na gamit dito https://phcorner.org/account/contact-details

Kung nag-alala kayu sa privacy ninyu, wala pong nakaka alam or nakaka access ng Social account nyu.
Naka connect/associate lang yan for Validity reason.

sir nakalimutan ko password ng fb ko tapos yung recovery email hindi yun sakin kaya doon po ma sesend yung security code..sinubokan ko rin ang mag post ng valid id sa facebook team pero di parin sila nagfededback...2 days napo hindi parin ngrereplay sila...may pag.asa pa kaya na marecover yun sir?..

Mema lang po, pano saming twitter lang gamit, quit na sa fb long time ago dahil sa dami ng di kaaya aya na tao sa fb.

I have no facebook account since 2011 for several reasons (lets just say about relationship/s) and I have no plan of creating one or even a fake. I'm a legit user here with no conceited nor hidden agendas. I understand that these measures are implemented to somehow protect the integrity of this community, but I don't think it is fool-proofed as information comes from different sources. Not to mention that people will really find a way to leak it if he/she wants to and spawn it like mushrooms wherever. On a business perspective, I don't understand how additional profits are generated by integrating facebook here, but I think its not that bad at all and its their call too.

If I'm gonna lose my "established" member status I think it would be fine as Ive already learned almost everything that I needed to learn here for a span of 5 months. I'm not even visiting "internet tricks" anymore as far as I can recall since I can now create something on my own (credits to my master).

People should be aware that everything doesn't last forever, promos will die out eventually as systems are upgraded and p@tched accordingly. Yes there are loopholes in the system that can be abused or taken advantage of, but not for long. Unless those companies are numb or stubborn then you're in luck.
