🔒 Closed Can connect to wifi but no data received

Guys patulong naman..yung laptop ko kumokonekta naman sa wifi pero kapag chineck mo yung data received paisa-isa lang..as in isa isa.. anung pwedeng gawin?

Yung ibang device ba nakakakonekta ng maayos? Check mo sa cmd, type mo ipconfig, dapat ipv4 address or default gateway is 10. or 192. kapag 169. yan ibig sabihin may problema sa pag connect sa router.
To fix that, usually nakukuha sa reboot ng both laptop and router.
Pag ayaw pa rin, sa cmd ulit run as admin mo sya tapos type mo:

ipconfig /release
tapos
ipconfig /renew

tapos check mo ulit kung 169 parin ip mo type mo ulit ipconfig.
Pag hindi na 169 pwede ka na magbrowse.

pwede yan sir. technician po ako ng Dell and isa sa mga laging issue yung wifi, kaya marunong ako magtroubleshoot.

ganun ba, madalas kasi nakikita ko pag 169 pino-force ip, kasi pag nag release/renew madalas ang reply ng pc "lan connection has its media disconnected" naka-on naman yung wifi adapter, kaya naisip ko di sya pde lan, salamat sa clarification.

On a less technical option:
1. Close any ongoing vpn apps on the background.
2. Reset wifi router.
3. Uninstall wifi adapter drivers then reboot.
4. Attempt to connect to that wifi with a diffirent device to "rule-out" device malfunction.
5. Attempt to connect to a "different" internet connection/wifi to rule-out network instability.
