Don't have a pdf but since "Mahilig po akong gumawa ng platform games using c#" Try using Unity. C# din yung gamit na language. You can create Simple to Hardcore 2D and 3D games! ang maganda is available extension narin sa Visual Studio 2017 pero I recommend na sa Unity Software ka mismo magsimula.

why I recommend this? Simply Because kung Hanap mong User Interface or Design ay Katulad ng DOTA2, Diablo, Grand theft Auto, Special Force etc (Mga 3D games) Unity is of the right choice (See the picture below why)
