Pwede ring ...organize->folder options->view->uncheck hide system protected files->click show hidden filesIf it's in a flash drive or flash media, you can attrib it.
Open CMD > type: attrib -r -a -s -h [drive letter]:\*.* /s /d
then press enter and wait for it to finish.

Yun nga lang eh... mas maganda nga ang virus database nya pero may CHANCE na di magboot pc mowith the help of altering the bootmgr, as you stated.
