Security experts E×ρréššed alarm Friday over a fast-moving wave of cyberattacks around the world that appeared to exploit a flaw exposed in documents leaked from the US National Security Agency.

The attacks came in the form of ransomware, a technique used by häçkers that locks a user's files unless they pay the attackers in bitcoin.

yes pero ang mga maiinfect lang nmn daw e ung mga hindi nagkaron ng update nitong march. most likely maapektuhan e yung mga pekeng OS

oo nga lalo na dito sa pinas hindi masyadong priority dito ang cyber security. dito nga sa office namin lalo Gobyerno puro peke ang OS nmin dito. yung iba nga Government agencies Xp pa ang gamit. sa amin nmn ay Windows 7

Sinabi mo pa haha. Actually mga last August or September ata yun may kakilala ako in person naka experience ng ganyan ransomware and I know na yun Business establishment kung nasaan siya ay hindi gumagamit ng genuine OS for Business purpose, but not sure kung yan din ransomware yun o iba pa. kapag dito nakarating yan marami maaapektohan.
