Please give insight on how to update the bios via Flashdrive. I already have the bios but I dont know how to flash it in DOS... The main problem of my laptop is wont boot up in OS, it freeze on Starting windows. I also change the settings in System Configuration>Boot to Compatibility, Change the HDD with WIN 10 or 7 but still it will freeze. The hard drive is okay because Im using it on the other laptop :-(

Have you already tried reinstalling your OS? Check for hardware issues, try switching or cleaning ram, replacing cmos battery and other basic troubleshooting for hardwares; updating BIOS would be your last resort, as doing so would lead to more problems if something goes wrong.

Make sure you have the right BIOS update tools as it could make your laptop completely unbootable, you won't even be able reinstall Windows if not done properly.

but, if you are confident enough that it is a BIOS issue, doing an update is easy, just unzip your downloaded BIOS update file, (make sure it is the right update file) run the executable .exe program then update process starts automatically, after installation, the system will shutdown automatically, turn on your computer and check your BIOS settings. Voila! update finished.

thank you for your response... I am trying to reinstall the OS win 10 nor 7 but still it freeze on starting windows, it wouldnt proceed to the set up. Replacing RAM doesnt fix the problem :-( Im already frustrated searching on google to fix the problem but all the suggestions wont work. My last option is to update its bios to latest from 6.60 to 6.80 that I was downloaded from toshiba website.
