Diablo III is an action RPG and häçk and slash game developed by Blizzard Entertainment; it is the third title in the Diablo series. Its production was revealed on June 28, 2008, at the Blizzard Entertainment Worldwide Invitational. The game was officially released on May 15, 2012. The Brazilian version of the game was fully translated into Portuguese.
Diablo III follows the story of its predecessor, Diablo II: Lord of Destruction, which exceeded expectations. The story of the new game takes place twenty years after the events that marked the end of Diablo II. The warriors finally defeated evil, but when a comet falls to Earth exactly where Diablo was confined, the warriors are once again summoned to defend humanity against the new enemy. The game's style remains the same (isometric view), but this time utilizing the resources of new technologies to reproduce a fully 3D and interactive world, even allowing for the destruction of scenery. Players can choose from five available classes (seven after expansions) and venture into the magical and menacing world that Diablo III provides, but this time with new skills and equipment and a more refined level of character customization.
