- Universal Music Group (UMG) Lawsuit: UMG filed a copyright infringement lawsuit against DistroKid over allegedly fraudulent streams, AI-generated "slop," and unvetted music.
- Preemptive Takedowns: In response to legal pressure and strict new industry guidelines from the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry (IFPI), DistroKid has begun aggressively purging content and freezing or graying out catalogs.
- False Positives: Many independent musicians with legitimate streams and catalogs have been caught in the crossfire and had their music deleted without direct explanation or warning.
Yun nga, once na nabuild mo naman ang yt channel mo dadami namn ang views at subs, damay jan pati music video or music na uploaded sa yt, basta claimed lng ang artist mo. Di mo naman need talaga ng palaman eh, nakapagpaviral nga ako ng playlist 100k na siya, inadd ko mga uploaded songs ko dun from yt sa viral playlist, yung dinistribute ni dk, then nagkakaviews na siya, umaabot ng 5-10k view per song, isipin mo may ads per click ang song kaya sana pumaldo pag may sahod na ng yt haha
