- Stronger drums, bass, piano, guitars and synths than many generic GM soundfonts.
- XG compatibility is particularly useful because many karaoke MIDI files were programmed with Yamaha-style arrangements
- Excellent if you like the sound of older dedicated MIDI karaoke machines.
- Vocals aren't actually generated by the SoundFont—the backing arrangement is—but the instruments have that familiar karaoke-machine character.
