Project 1: Build a New WordPress Theme From Scratch

We'll choose redesign in this course, and you'll create a detailedredesign-brief document that becomes the source of truth for the new design.
Before ᑕᕼᗩTGᑭT Work is allowed to make changes, you'll also establish explicit safety boundaries.
Work is instructed to operate only on staging, preserve the website's existing content and functionality, leave the current theme unchanged, and create an entirely separate new theme for the redesign. This preserves a clear rollback path if the new design ever needs to be reversed.
ᑕᕼᗩTGᑭT Work will then inspect the existing site's pages, posts, navigation, media, content structure, templates, and important functionality before creating the new theme around the real website content.
You'll review the redesign, critique it, choose which improvements you actually want, and instruct ᑕᕼᗩTGᑭT to make only those approved refinements.
