Basic ServiceNow navigation skills (you can open a table, filter a list, and edit a record)
A free ServiceNow Personal Developer Instance. Section 1 shows you how to request one and activate the plugins used in the course
Familiarity with ITIL or ITSM concepts such as incidents, changes, and services is helpful but not required
No Discovery, ITOM, or scripting experience needed. Every technical step is demonstrated on screen

Description
Your ServiceNow CMDB has thousands of CIs, and nobody trusts a single one of them. Duplicates, orphans, stale records, relationships that point nowhere. Every change goes through CAB with a "we think this is what it touches." That is the gap the CIS-DF Data Foundations certification was built to close, and it is the gap this course teaches you to fix.

This is not a slide-reading course. You work as the external CMDB specialist NovaTech Energy brought in to rebuild its data foundation, alongside Chris Harris, their senior Configuration Manager. Every configuration you make, every Discovery run, every certification schedule, solves a problem NovaTech is actually facing.
