WCN Announces “TAKOD” Vertical Drama Series — The Long-Awaited Continuation of the 2019 Hit Bisaya Short Film
By Nick Sandoval
CEBU CITY - Based on the 2019 Bisaya short film that reached 8 million organic views in just one week, the story finally continues in a brand-new vertical drama series.
After years of nonstop fan requests and overwhelming demand, WCN officially brings back TAKOD as a vertical drama series, continuing the story that captivated millions in 2019.
Created and written by Rod Maceda, Takod picks up after the events of the original Bisaya short film, giving fans the continuation they have been waiting for. Since its release in 2019 before the lockdown in 2020 that made a pre-apocalyptic prophecy or prediction, the film became a viral sensation, earning 8 million organic views in only one week and building a loyal fanbase that continuously asked WCN to continue the story.
Joining them are the lead stars of WCN's upcoming PPV drama series Puppy Love:
Harry Medway as Philipp
Christian Mankikis as Bax
In an exciting surprise for WCN fans, viewers can watch these beloved characters for free in Takod while waiting for the exclusive PPV release of Puppy Love.
Set against a darker and more dangerous world, Takod promises intense action, suspense, survival, and emotional drama as Ana Rivas and Nina Castro fight through the nightmare that has only just begun.
TAKOD is 2027 OPENING SALVO as a WCN Vertical Drama Series, with Rod Maceda returning as the creator to finally continue one of WCN's most requested stories.
