What you'll learn
Build full-stack e-commerce apps with FastAPI, React, Stripe payments, Google OAuth2, SQLAlchemy, and Alembic migrations.
Implement JWT authentication, Argon2 password hashing, and fine-grained Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) for 3 user roles.
Develop role-based React dashboards with protected route guards for Customer, Admin, and Delivery personnel workflows
Automate testing, transactional HTML emails via Jinja2/aiosmtplib, AWS S3 image uploads, and CI/CD deployment pipelines
Requirements
Basic understanding of Python and JavaScript/React. Familiarity with web concepts like HTTP and REST APIs is helpful, but no prior experience with FastAPI, Stripe, or CI/CD is required
Description
Build a complete, production-grade e-commerce application from scratch usingFastAPI for the backend andReact for the frontend. This project-driven course is designed to take you far beyond basic CRUD operations, teaching you how to architect, secure, automate, and deploy a robust enterprise platform from the ground up.
On the backend, you will build a high-performance asynchronous API using modern Python standards,FastAPI,SQLAlchemy, andAlembic database migrations with support for both PostgreSQL (asyncpg) and MySQL (asyncmy). Security and identity management are core focal points of this course: you will implement secure authentication utilizingPyJWT, Argon2 password hashing via passlib and pwdlib,Google OAuth2 single sign-on using Authlib, and fine-grainedRole-Based Access Control (RBAC) to isolate permissions across distinct Customer, Admin, and Delivery personnel workflows.
Furthermore, you will integrate real-world third-party services to handle high-value operational tasks. You will connect theStripe API for processing online checkout payments securely, utilizeJinja2 to build dynamic custom HTML email templates, and automate transactional messaging using asynchronous email transport (aiosmtplib). For media storage, you will leverage Amazon Web Services via boto3 to manage product uploads effortlessly.
On the frontend, you will develop a responsive, component-driven application inReact. You will leverage modern React patterns, modern state management, and client-side router guards for strict route protection based on user roles. You'll establish dedicated operational interfaces for customers to browse products and manage carts, admins to manage inventory and user roles, and delivery agents to track and fulfill orders in real time.
Finally, you will bridge the gap between development and production. You will craft completeCI/CD pipelines, build automated deployment and validation scripts, run integration tests usinghttpx, and ensure your full-stack environment is fully prepared for continuous delivery and enterprise stability.
What You Will Learn & Key Features Covered
-FastAPI Async Backend & Dual Databases: High-performance RESTful APIs built with Pydantic settings, SQLAlchemy 2.0, Alembic migrations, and full connection support for both PostgreSQL and MySQL.
-React Single Page Application: Modern React frontend featuring component architecture, client-side protected routes, and interactive UI layouts.
-Multi-Role Authentication & Security: Google OAuth 2.0 login, JWT token auth, Argon2 hashing, and multi-tier RBAC (Customer, Admin, and Delivery roles).
-Payment Processing: Full payment lifecycle management powered by Stripe integration.
-Transactional Emails & Notifications: Asynchronous email dispatch using Jinja2 dynamic templates and aiosmtplib.
-Cloud Storage & Media: AWS S3 integration via boto3 for handling product images and file assets.
-Role-Specific Dashboards: Custom React UI dashboards tailored individually for Customers, Admins, and Delivery staff.
-DevOps & Automation: End-to-end CI/CD setup, production validation scripts, and automated deployment strategies.
Who this course is for
Python and React developers who want to build and deploy production-ready, full-stack web applications with real-world authentication, payments, role-based dashboards, and CI/CD pipelines.
