Bring your entire agentic AI workflow into VS Code with the Foundry Toolkit. Pick models, build low-code and coded agents, and deploy hosted agents—all without leaving your editor.

Course details
Build AI apps and agents without leaving Visual Studio Code. This short course shows how the Foundry Toolkit, GitHub Copilot, and the Microsoft Foundry skill bring your entire agentic AI workflow—models, prompts, evaluation, and deployment—into one editor. Get started with the Foundry Toolkit in VS Code, then explore the Model Catalog and Playground to pick and compare the right generative AI model for your scenario. Build a low-code AI agent in the Agent Builder to turn campaign inputs into channel-ready social media content, connecting to approved data sources through MCP servers and running AI-judged evaluations. Then scale up to a coded agent using GitHub Copilot CLI and the Microsoft Foundry skill, configuring a Foundry Toolbox, debugging with the Agent Inspector, and deploying as a hosted agent in Microsoft Foundry. This course was created by Microsoft Developer. We are pleased to host this training in our library.

Skills covered
AI Software Development, AI Agents, Microsoft Visual Studio Code, Artificial Intelligence (AI)
