I'm currently working as a Software Developer (Entry Level
) in an EU Company, may office sila here in PH, and malaking company to compared to my previous work, and yes, as you can see parang ang weird ng career path ko, dahil from SE - Team Lead bumagsak sa pagiging SD Associate, pero to be honest ang reason why I'm at this position is because, at my previous company wala ako masyadong natutunan, as gusto kong ma tuto pa, pero tied up ako, sa pag mamanage ng DBs, meron maliit na app (side project, because I asked for it) di sya crucial sa company, so yung work ko mostly is around Sql Server and maintenance ng existing systems (old tech mostly), and the pay is really not that great the longer I stay, so that's why I decided to resign pero yung na lipatan kung company na scam din ako (that's another story), so I was unemployed for 3 months, and that time wala masyadong hiring for .NET stack, and nka 20 rejections ata ako, and out of desperation to find a work, nag apply ako as a Junior again instead of Mid Level, i was relieve din, kasi malaking Saas company, yung offer is malaki pa sa asking ko and more than x2 than what I was making in my previous work and maganda benefits, and WFH... and ever since, I learned a lot sa current company ko specially sa new tech and tools, pero feeling ko stucked parin ako, kasi walang promotion and i think it's impossible na ma promote ako dito, I don't know, parang ang hirap i explain ng situation ko, nag rerevolved nalang din yung work ko sa p0-p1 and minsan may roadmaps.. and lalo na ngayon may AI na sa work, di na ako nakakapag code since last year so parang nag iimposter syndrome yung kalagayan ko and di ako masyadong confident kahit nakakdeliver naman ako, and iniisip ko na din mag hop kaso parang di maganda market now and iniisip ko wala nga akong porfolio to showcase, and dahil din wala talaga akong nagagawang side project, di din naman pwede i showcase ko mga projects na nainvolved ako while working sa company. May similar case din kaya sa akin? hahah
