Learn C# from scratch: variables, loops, collections, LINQ and OOP through hands-on projects. No experience needed.
What you'll learn
Understand C# fundamentals: variables, conditions, loops, and methods - the building blocks of every C# program
Store and manage data with arrays, lists, and dictionaries, and learn the basics of OOP: classes, objects, and properties
Handle errors with exceptions, work with dates and random numbers, save data to text files, and debug your code in Visual Studio
Build real console projects step by step: a Coffee Calculator, a Daily Planner, a Note-Taking App, and a complete Flashcard TrainerRequirements
No prior programming experience required - this course starts from zero and explains every step
A computer running Windows or macOS with internet access
We will install Visual Studio together in the course - no ρáíd software needed, everything is free
Basic computer skills: installing programs, working with files and folders
Willingness to practice: you will learn by writing code along with the instructorDescription
If you want to learn C# but you are starting from zero, you are in the right place. You do not need any previous programming experience - we will begin with the basics, take things step by step, and build your C# knowledge together as we go.
Along the way, we will build seven beginner-friendly projects: a coffee calculator, a daily planner, a student management system, a number guessing game, a note-taking app, a birthday countdown app, and finally, a flashcard trainer. Instead of saving projects only for the end of the course, we will use them throughout the course to learn C# in practice.
You will start by writing your first small programs and gradually learn how to work with variables, conditions, loops, methods, collections, classes, objects, and many other important parts of C#. The goal is not to memorize a long list of programming concepts, but to understand how they work by actually using them.
We will write some code, run the program, see what happens, and then build on top of it. If something does not work the way we expected, that is completely fine - we will look at it together, understand what happened, and use it as another opportunity to learn.
As the course continues, our programs will slowly become bigger and more interesting. You will start seeing how the small things we learned earlier connect together and turn into complete programs.
My goal is not just to show you C# syntax. I want you to understand why the code works, feel comfortable reading it, and gradually become more confident writing it yourself.
By the end of the course, you will understand the core parts of C#, you will have written real code across several projects, and you will have a solid foundation for whatever you want to learn next. That could be ASP.NET Core, APIs, databases, desktop applications, or larger .NET projects.
You will not know everything about C# after one course, and that is completely normal. What matters is that you will understand the fundamentals, know how to approach a programming problem, and have enough confidence to continue learning and building things on your own.
