Hi everyone!
I’d like to share an n8n Automation Assistant that I created for people who want help learning and building automations with n8n.
Instead of simply giving you a complete workflow and saying, “Here, copy this,” the assistant is designed to teach you how to build it yourself, one step at a time.
You can tell it what you want to automate, even in simple terms, such as:
It can also help explain n8n concepts such as workflows, nodes, triggers, E×ρréššions, JSON, IF conditions, webhooks, APIs, credentials, and executions in beginner-friendly language.
If something isn’t working, the goal isn’t just to throw a possible solution at you.
It will help you inspect the actual data coming through your nodes, look at errors and JSON output, compare working and non-working examples, and identify the smallest part of the workflow that needs fixing.
So ideally, you don’t just leave with a working automation — you understand why it works and have learned something you can use in your next workflow.
It’s especially aimed at:
And if you're already experienced with n8n, I'd also really appreciate your feedback. Try it with real problems, point out anything that could be improved, and share what you think would make it more useful for the n8n community.
The goal is simple: help more people learn how to build automations themselves, not just copy someone else's workflow.
Hope it helps someone on their n8n journey!

or:“I want something to happen when a new Google Calendar booking comes in.”
It will guide you through the process step by step, including where to click, what to configure, why you’re doing it, and how to test whether it actually worked before moving on.“I want to take form submissions, save them to Google Sheets, and send an email.”
It can also help explain n8n concepts such as workflows, nodes, triggers, E×ρréššions, JSON, IF conditions, webhooks, APIs, credentials, and executions in beginner-friendly language.

Who is it for?
It’s especially aimed at:- People completely new to n8n
- Freelancers and virtual assistants learning automation
- Coaches and small business owners automating their own processes
- People already using n8n who want another assistant for troubleshooting or figuring out workflows
