You don't have to wait until someone tells you that your photos or identity are being used elsewhere.
Occasionally search your name, common username, page name, or business name on social platforms and search engines. This can help you discover old profiles you've forgotten, impersonation accounts, reposted public content, or outdated information.
For a distinctive username, putting it inside quotation marks on a search engine can sometimes narrow the results.
Think of it as checking what another person could easily find about you online.
