Description
This course contains the use of artificial intelligence. AI is used to reframe the words, fixing spelling mistakes and grammatical mistakes and audio conversion.Every product you have ever bought passed through a warehouse - and the quiet software and machines inside decide whether it ships on time, to the right address, without damage. This course teaches that world end to end: how a modern warehouse actually runs, the WMS, WES and WCS systems that direct the work, the automation and robotics that move the goods, and the AI that increasingly makes the decisions. You will start from the basics - receiving, put-away, storage, picking, packing, dispatch and returns - so no prior experience is needed. Then you will go deep on the Warehouse Management System: inventory and location control, task management, directed put-away and picking, wave and waveless order release, and labour management. From there you will unpack the full control stack - how a WES orchestrates work in real time and a WCS drives conveyors, sorters and robots - and how everything integrates with ERP through EDI, APIs and middleware. You will learn the identification standards that hold it together (UPC, EAN, GS1, SSCC, RFID) and the automation that scales it (AS/RS, sortation, AGVs, AMRs, goods-to-person and robotic picking). The final third is what makes this course different: real AI in the warehouse - demand forecasting, slotting, pick-path and labour optimisation, computer vision, predictive maintenance, digital twins and generative-AI assistants - plus the KPIs, costs, safety and change-management that make it all stick. Every concept is grounded in a concrete role and a real metric, with one global example and one India example so it lands wherever you work.
