Where someone sits can influence how aircraft movement feels.

Seats around the wing area are relatively close to an aircraft's center of gravity and generally experience less up-and-down pitching movement than seats much farther toward the front or rear.

This doesn't eliminate turbulence, and movement varies according to the aircraft and atmospheric conditions.

Still, seat location can change the physical sensation of the exact same flight.
