The International Space Station orbits Earth roughly every 90 minutes. Because of this rapid orbit, astronauts experience around 16 sunrises and 16 sunsets during a single Earth day.
Their sense of "day" and "night" depends more on mission schedules than on the Sun. Living in space completely changes the way people experience time. A normal day in orbit is anything but ordinary.
