💡 Trivia Octopuses Sometimes Throw Things at Each Other

Scientists have observed wild octopuses picking up shells, sand, and small objects and deliberately throwing them. In some cases, the objects even hit other octopuses nearby. Researchers believe these throws may be part of social interactions, including defending territory or showing annoyance. It's one of the few known examples of tool-like throwing behavior in animals that don't have a backbone.

This discovery has changed how scientists think about octopus intelligence. It turns out these incredible creatures may have arguments just like we do.
