Most people naturally pick up, unlock, and scroll through their phones the same way every time. Over weeks or months, your brain turns these repeated actions into habits that require very little thought. This is why you might unlock your phone without even remembering why you picked it up. Habit loops help your brain save energy by automating routine behaviors.
While this makes daily tasks easier, it can also lead to unconscious phone use. Sometimes your hands know what to do before your mind does.
