I've been building an Android TV app called canlitv - you bring your own M3U/Xtream playlist (whatever legit source you already use) and it organizes your channels with a fast, remote-friendly interface. Built it to fix the laggy, cluttered players most boxes ship with - instant channel switching even on huge lists.
